Tours for prospective parents are offered monthly and it is necessary to reserve a space in advance. All tours for the remainder of the year are currently booked. To be added to our wait list for next years tours, please email seadra@growingplace.com and leave your name, phone number and your child's date of birth, or you can call 310-399-7769.  We will begin booking tours for next year in September.

Rain will cancel tours. If you have been scheduled for a tour and it has been canceled we will contact you for further information on rescheduling.

Families are admitted from a waiting pool taking into consideration siblings currently enrolled, a balance of age, gender, economic and ethnic diversity.  Decisions are not made on a first come first served basis, so all applications are in equal standing once submitted.

The Growing Place is not able to provide part time or wrap around care.

Generally, most openings for 2.5 to early 3 year olds occur in September and only a few spaces open up in July for 3.5 year olds. Vacancies are made available when children move on to kindergarten.  We begin our enrollment process every February for the following September.

The Ocean Park campus has three classrooms, The Sun Room, the Moon and the Star Room. Each class is made up of 24-27 students, with three full-time teachers and one part-time assistant. The teacher to student ratio is 1:8 in the Sun Room and 1:9 in the upper two rooms.
